Description

Luminous Eyes is the acclaimed 2017 debut EP by the American heavy metal project Haunt, helmed by multi-instrumentalist Trevor William Church. Clocking in at just under 20 minutes, the four-track release serves as a masterful, nostalgic tribute to the late 1970s and early 1980s New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM). It trades the crushing, slow-tempo doom metal of Church’s other prominent band, Beastmaker, for high-energy galloping rhythms, dual guitar harmonies, and catchy hooks.
