Lost in the Ages by the German black/thrash metal pioneers Desaster is a foundational, cult-classic demo. Originally self-released on cassette in December 1994, this crucial 25-minute effort captured a young band bridging the gap between primitive first-wave black metal and raging Teutonic thrash. It remains an essential artifact that paved the way for their debut full-length album, A Touch of Medieval Darkness.
